Hi, I am Claudia Romero-Dneprovski.
I am a photographer and designer based in Montreal, Quebec, Canada. I began my journey in the arts at the age of 13 in Mexico city. This means I really know how to use a plethora of mixed media materials, including having had the experience of being in a dark room developing my own photos. Of course now Photoshop and Lightroom are part of my design tools too. I also have an extensive background in event management and fundraising events, which makes me feel very at ease with people. This is why the connections I create through my images are meaningful and candid. My goal is to portray the Wabi-Sabi of everyday life.
I am fluent in English and French; Spanish is my mother tongue; Russian and German are my family languages (which I understand very well, more than I can speak for now); and Italian and Portuguese are my youth languages that I learned while travelling and chatting with friends.
Continuing education is a constant in my life, both personally and professionally. As well, I believe that learning from others is a great way to grow and strive for more fun, haha! So I am a proud member of the following Associations: Club Photo Vaudreuil-Dorion (CPVD), Association des artistes entrepreneurs de Montréal (AARTEN) , Diversité Artistique Montréal (DAM), Youth & Entrepreneur Services (YES), and English Language Artist Network (ELAN).
